Here’s an alternative to Living in a Cave – by Rebecca Mayer

It’s safe to say that we at Bag It are committed to removing BPA (bisphenol A) from our consumer products.  If you’ve seen the film, you know we’d love for BPA to be completely absent from our baby’s bottles and, for that matter, drinking vessels of all sorts.

If you follow our blog, you know already how much we’d like to see it removed from our cash money and our cans of beans.

Evan Winslow, our brilliant high school blogger, has called our attention to the brutal fact that we all, as Americans, have a choice:  deal with BPA, a proven endocrine-disrupter, or go live in a cave, give up all worldly possessions and cut ourselves off from society entirely.

WAIT…stop!  Don’t take Evan’s advice, faithful readers of the Bag It blog!  Not yet, anyway.  Well, do take Evan’s advice about limiting your use of canned goods and not re-heating food in plastic containers.  But also try this:

Tell the FDA to get BPA out of our food products when they make a ruling March 31!

And thank you for your faithful readership and support of Bag It.  We’ll keep trying to bring you alternatives to living in a cave.
