In California when you buy a beer not in bulk packaging they must bag it by LAW. Why is California law a cause of problems insted of a solution to them? This is only one example of many.

It’s unfortunate that the movie missed why store packaging has become so prevalent. Talk to any store manager and one major problem is theft. Lowe’s for example looses thousands in merchandise each month depending on the store location. To make it more difficult for people to walk off with items, the manufacturer and retailers resorted to increase packaging size. Not only does theft increase prices for everyone but contributes to degradation of the environment. Is the public ready to take stand against theft to lower the use of extreme packaging?
