Green Christmas! by Rebecca Mayer

25 to 30 million Christmas trees are cut each Christmas and then tossed into the trash.  Trees are becoming a more and more precious commodity to us all.

Here are several ways to save a tree this (or next) Christmas:

1.  Grow a living Christmas tree that graces your yard year-long.  Just keep in in a pot that can be moved inside once a year.  Try this yule-tree-to-be.

2.  Think big and get your town or community organization to build a tree from recycled bicycle parts!

3.  Create your own tree from recycled plastic!

4.  Some other eco-friendly artificial tree ideas.
